Bickleigh Bridge

Little known beach downstream from the famous bridge over the River Exe just south of Tiverton which provides great paddling and splashing opportunities with a stunning backdrop. Additional options include the Exe Valley trail along the river just upstream of Bickleigh Mill.

Good For:

Water related fun;

Iconic backdrop;

Post-shoot shopping and eating at Bickleigh Mill.

Maybe best to avoid if:

There’s been a lot of rain and the river is running high;

You need level paths (it’s a little bit of a scramble down to the river bank, just off a busy road).
