Fingle Bridge
Magical spot high up on River Teign below Castle Drogo. Cross the old, stone bridge over the river to find flat grassy areas and riverside paths. Particularly stunning in spring and autumn.
Good For:
Paddling in the summer;
Peaceful woodland walks;
Easily accessible grassland;
Post-shoot eating at Fingle Bridge Inn.
Maybe best to avoid if:
High summer or bank holidays (unless we get there early);
You’re not keen on driving on Devon lanes.
