Heavitree Pleasure Grounds
Very popular park not far from central Exeter that includes wide open spaces and more secluded wooded areas. Easily accessible by bus and has the added bonus of a wonderful cafe, play area, tennis courts and (in summer) paddling pools.

Maybe best to avoid if:
Its Sunday morning (unless. you fancy completing Junior ParkRun first);
