Teignmouth
Traditional south Devon seaside town with a (slightly downtrodden) pier on the seaward beach, famous Ness rock in the background and sheltered river beach with numerous beaches.
Good For:
Beautiful sunsets on ‘Back’ beach and low tide reflections on the main beach
Messing around amongst the boats (with a small chance of seal spotting).
You don’t want to walk too far.
Maybe best to avoid if:
You want to be away from the people.
