Woolacombe

Frequent award-winning beach in North Devon. This is an absolutely stunning two mile stretch of golden sand and surf backed by high dunes.

Good For:

Massive beach

Golden sand.

Wet sand for reflections as the tide goes out.

Running, paddling, sandcastles.

Maybe best to avoid if:

You need to consider a push chair or wheelchair as there is a lot of sand.

Parking is either behind the beach or up on the cliff, both of which are a little bit of a walk away.
